First Baptist Church conducts
two sports leagues for churches
in our area and participates in
a third. Please note all of the
leagues and the schedule for the
league currently underway below:
Basketball
January – March: FBC
conducts church basketball
leagues for both boys and girls
in grades 6-12 who are not
members of a varsity or junior
varsity basketball team and who
are regular participants in the
normal activities of the church
they are representing. Games and
practices are held in the FBC
Christian Life Center. Contact

VolleyBall
February – March: FBC
conducts church coed volleyball
leagues for those serious about
their volleyball. A night is
also set aside for informal
games for those less serious but
who still want some good
exercise. Contact Tanya Best at

Softball
May
– August: FBC participates
in the Alton Ruritan Club church
softball league with a men’s
team and a lady’s team. Both
teams play on the same night
(with a few exceptions) with the
ladies playing at 6:30 and the
men at 7:45. Contact Barry
