Mission Statement

We, the congregation of First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg,

are a community of people who have

accepted the free gift of an eternal relationship with God

that comes from His Grace and our faith in Jesus Christ.

As a community of believers, we are called:

To introduce individuals to our Lord Jesus Christ

through personal and life style witnessing,

biblical teaching, and evangelistic preaching.

To encourage and assist in the spiritual growth of

individuals as we journey toward full Christian maturity.

To individually and collectively engage in

selfless Christian service in meeting the

 spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of all people.

To promote and provide resources that support

mission efforts in spreading the gospel to

our community, our nation, and our world.

We desire our church to be a loving, caring people that:

Earnestly seeks God's will in all matters.

Always uses God's inspired word as the guide

for our daily living and Jesus Christ as the

standard for our personal conduct.

Is recognized as a church where all individuals are

welcomed, the Word of God is proclaimed,

and personal spiritual growth is made paramount.
